Headquarters leveled by Fire

On Monday evening, January 6th 2025, Robert and I decided to setup our hardware prototype outside our headquarters in Altadena, CA. There was a Santa Ana windstorm in the forecast and we were wondering whether it was a good idea to setup the over 10 foot tall structure before the storm. It turned out, it was.

The next day a firestorm ravaged Altadena and leveled everything but our prototype. Our headquarters and office was gone with only rubble left to show. Arriving at the site and seeing our Backbone still standing gave us a strong sense of purpose. Our creation had survived this fire. It made it clear to us that what matters now most, is to keep developing Planetary Utilities.
